Toyota’s Smartphone on Wheels: The Fun-Vii concept

Toyota unveiled their “smartphone on wheels” vehicle concept at Tokyo Motor Show on yesterday and all we can say is, “wow”. A car of which you can change the look of it with a few touches seems like a far-into-the-future concept. It is suppose to work a lot like downloading an app to your phone. The entire shell of the car is a screen which allows the owner to change the color, display messages or other content. Inside the connected car are touch tools that looks like a larger version of your phone’s touch screen. It uses augmented reality to display navigation directions while the “concierge” responds to voice commands.

It can also interact with surrounding vehicles and possibly predict hazards, according to Toyota. The driver can also update the drive, control, and multimedia systems over the network. It is a concept we wish could reach production A-SAP. Like it.
