EVENTS: “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” New York Premiere
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo premiered Wednesday night in New York City at the Ziegfeld Theatre. The English language adaptation of the Swedish film stars Daniel Craig as a Swedish journalist hired to investigate a 40 year old murder. The intense film loops in and out of dark, and sometimes violent, plots to deliver a powerful thriller based on Stieg Larsson’s first novel of the Millennium trilogy.
The cast of the highly anticipated film made their way down the red carpet including, SlyMagazine.com’s Lady of the Moment, Rooney Mara, Robin Wright, Stellan Skarsgard, and Christopher Plummer. Other celebrities gracing the red carpet included Viola Davis, Tony Danza, Taraji P. Henson, and Aisha Tyler.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo opens in the U.S. on Wednesday, December 21st.

hopefully that tat isn’t the real deal most Maori and Samoan people frown on oditsuers doing real tribal tats because the tats are spiritual and tell a family history. It is really disrespectful to their culture its kind of like a white guy wearing black face. But there are some symbols and designs that can be used without offense.
