SHOE SALON: Fendi Spring 2012 Collection
Fendi spring 2012 shoe collection reflects the maturity of the muse referenced for the ready-to-wear collection, Rita Levi-Montalcini – a 102 year old Milanese woman who won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1986. Karl Lagerfeld focused on the broader scope of the muse, the Milanese women – elegant and timeless. There is a youthful element to the collection that is married quite well through out the line. Mid to low heeled sandals for the woman about town during the day shopping, espresso-ing … stopping for business at the bank.
Preforated leathers, stripes, colors, bows are all main features in the collection that has us instinctly smelling the sea air and feeling the breeze at our backs. There is, no doubt, a sea element to the collection. It is a sweet collection as well as decisive in outlook and sensibilities sans the trend obligations. We admire that.
