fELICITY jONES FRONT

Felicity Jones is the new fashion darling but this time add demure to the description. We have seen many darlings from Emma Watson to Emma Stone from Keira Knightley to Rooney Mara and Lupita Nyong’o. Jones carries a formidable sense of style, a proprietary elegance with which we have come to identify.

“I guess people see me as a bit of a nerd,” the 31 year old tells GQ magazine but what people see may not be too far off. Jones is an Oxford graduate who enjoys reading. Her sense of style does not veer too far off from these sensibilities. Jones’ style is conservative but by  no means lacking in glamour. Her style choices frequently include a full crop neckline; some sort of sleeving whether capped or full lace; and neat, pulled back hair. Jones is often in collared tops and full skirts for semi formal occasions, all quite charming and reminds us of Alexa Chung…with heels.

Jones possess a singular style which is Hepburn-esque. The designers Jones tends to wear include very formal and sophisticated labels including Valentino, Balenciaga,  Christian Dior, and Erdem.

She also possesses a quiet beauty and a smart sexiness. It is a powerful combo which we can expect to explode on the big screen in the coming months. The buzz surrounding Jones has long taken her native England, appearing in ELLE UK, The Sunday Times, VOGUE UK, as well as the cover of INSTYLE UK all hailing Jones demure style and the new ‘one to watch.’

Her demure style has our attention with her recent nominations for her role in The Theory of Everything opposite Eddie Redmayne. We wait in anticipation for her appearance at the Oscars. Chanel maybe?
